Detailed Introduction
The pump chamber of a dry, equal-pitch screw vacuum pump is divided into several unconnected cavities by the meshing main and driven rotors. Depending on their function, these cavities are divided into suction cavity ③, transport cavity ④, and exhaust cavity ⑤.
During operation, as the main rotor ① and driven rotor ② mesh and rotate, the suction cavity ③ space continuously increases, continuously drawing gas from the intake port at the top of the pump body. When the main and driven rotors rotate a certain angle, the suction cavity ③ reaches its maximum volume and is separated from the pump intake port. This cavity then transforms into the transport cavity ④, and a new suction cavity ③ is formed. As the rotors continue to rotate, the gas in the transport cavity ④ moves towards the exhaust end at a constant volume. In actual operation, due to the backflow of gas from the exhaust end, the pressure of the gas in the transport cavity ④ continuously increases. When the rotor rotates a certain angle, the transport cavity ④ communicates with the exhaust passage. The gas in the exhaust passage violently backwashes into the cavity, causing the pressure and temperature in the cavity to increase, and producing airflow noise. This cavity then transforms into the exhaust cavity ⑤. As the rotors continue to rotate, the volume of the exhaust cavity ⑤ gradually decreases, and the gas is continuously discharged. The pump chamber of a dry screw vacuum pump is oil-free, providing clean vacuum. The pump working chamber and screw rotor surfaces have an anti-corrosion coating, allowing it to withstand harsh operating conditions. When used in explosion-proof environments, the pump requires explosion-proof configuration. The gas in the screw vacuum pump chamber is always in a uniform linear motion state, and the pump chamber is straight through, without any partition structure, so solid dust and condensate are not easily deposited in the pump chamber. If necessary, gas is introduced into the pump chamber through a side gas injection port to form a purge airflow, enhancing the removal of solid dust and condensate from the pump chamber.
