In addition to being able to draw in general gases, SK, 2SK, and SZ type water ring vacuum pumps have the main advantage of being able to draw in condensable gases (such as water vapor). Because liquid ring pumps have the characteristic of isothermal compression, this pump can also draw in flammable, explosive, and corrosive gases. The 2YK type liquid ring vacuum pump is characterized by its high vacuum degree and strong applicability. When using an appropriate working medium (sometimes the medium being pumped can also be used as the working liquid), almost all industrial gases can be removed. The above pumps run smoothly, have low noise, and consume 30% less energy than water jet pumps and steam jet pumps. Therefore, liquid ring pumps are widely used in the chemical, light industry, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, and electrical industries.

• Selection based on different vacuum degrees

For long-term operation in the 1.3x10-1x10’Pa (100-760Torr) range, a single-stage SK type water ring vacuum pump is selected. For long-term operation in the 5x10-1.3x10’Pa (40-100Torr) range, a double-stage 2SK type water ring vacuum pump is selected. For long-term vacuuming in the 1x10-5x10’Pa (8-40Torr) range, a 2YK type double-stage oil ring vacuum pump is selected.

• Working medium options:

Normal temperature water, with <15℃ being optimal, generally not exceeding 40℃.

Transformer oil or other industrial oils with low viscosity and low saturated vapor pressure, with a maximum applicable temperature of 60℃. For example, vacuum drying in the electrical industry. Chemical liquids, directly using chemical raw materials, require liquids with low saturated vapor pressure, such as ethanolamine. Except for normal temperature water, when using other working media, a gas-liquid separator, cooler, etc., should be configured, and the pump shaft dynamic seal should use a mechanical seal. • System configuration type

When the working fluid at the outlet is not recycled or only partially recycled, an open circulation system is used. When the working fluid at the outlet must be reused and cannot be discharged externally, a closed-loop system should be used.
